At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021, Austin police responded to a two-vehicle crash. The preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicles, a yellow, 2000 Freightliner semi and a black, 1994 Nissan pickup truck collided in the intersection of Ed Bluestein Blvd. and Loyola Ln.
The unidentified Hispanic male driving the Nissan was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the semi was physically unharmed.
