On Saturday, May 4, 2019 at approximately 2:13 a.m., Austin 911 received multiple calls of possible gunshots at the Madison at Wells Branch apartment complex located at 13601 Elm Ridge Lane. Austin Police and Fire and Austin-Travis County EMS discovered Tony Ray Green Jr. unresponsive. The victim had obvious trauma to his body. Despite life-saving efforts by Austin Fire and Austin-Travis County EMS, Tony Green succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced deceased on scene at 2:36 a.m.
 
Homicide detectives responded and are actively investigating this case. Based on information gathered at this point, the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
 
The Travis County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy yesterday.
