UPDATE #2: 8-8-19 - Sergio Gomez-Herrada turned himself around Midnight on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He is currently in custody in the Travis County Jail. His booking photo is attached.
UPDATE #1: 8-7-19
APD has received information that the suspect from Homicide 24 was dropped off by a construction worker at 290 and Lexington in Manor, Texas, yesterday morning. The victim's vehicle (Toyota Camry) has been recovered. It was located off of Ben White around noon yesterday. The suspect is asking for rides and is believed to be armed. Please call 9-1-1 immediately if you see him.

Suspect: Sergio Jose Gomez Herrada | Hispanic male | 33 years of age
On Sunday, August 4, 2019 at approximately 9:57 p.m., Austin 911 received a call of a woman down inside the residence. Austin Police and Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on scene and located a woman who had sustained obvious trauma to the body. EMS obtained a time of death at 11:02 p.m.
The Travis County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the manner of death to be homicide.
Homicide detectives are seeking information about the whereabouts of Sergio Jose Gomez Herrada. Herrada’s last known location was in western Bastrop County in the area between Hwy 71 and FM 969. He is believed to be using friends and relatives to get around. Herrada is in possession of a handgun and is considered extremely dangerous. He has stated that he will not be taken by police. If you see him, call 911. Do not attempt to approach him.
Detectives are also asking the public to be on the lookout for a red, 4-door Toyota Camry with Texas license plate FLH-0260 that belonged to the victim. Anyone who locates the vehicle is asked to call the police with the location of the vehicle and any occupant description.
