Town Hall will be available in English on Jan. 13 and Spanish on Jan. 14

Austin, Texas – Join local public health officials for a Vaccine Town Hall to discuss COVID-19 vaccine safety, efficacy, and distribution.

Austin Public Health will be hosting two town halls and answering community questions as time allows. The first will be in English on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m., followed by the second in Spanish on Jan. 14 at 6 p.m.

The town hall on Jan. 13 will be available live on the Austin Public Health Facebook page and ATXN. The panelists are as follows:

  • Stephanie Hayden, Austin Public Health Director
  • Dr. Mark Escott, Interim Austin-Travis County Health Authority
  • Dr. Charles Bell, Vice Chair, Central Health Board of Managers
  • Dr. Jason Reichenberg, President of Ascension Medical Group Texas

The town hall on Jan. 14 will be available live on the Univision 62 Facebook page, website, and app. The panelists are as follows:

  • Stephanie Hayden, Austin Public Health Director
  • Dr. Mark Escott, Interim Austin-Travis County Health Authority
  • Dr. Guadalupe Zamora, Central Health Board of Managers
  • Dr. Kimberly Avila Edwards, Dell Children’s Director of Advocacy and External Affairs
