The City of Austin’s Housing Investment Review Committee (HIRC) will meet Wednesday, January 15, to review applications for both the Rental Housing Development Assistance Program (RHDA) and Ownership Housing Development Assistance Program (OHDA) to support construction of affordable rental and ownership housing in the city.
The meeting will be held at the Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Department (NHCD) offices, 1000 East 11th Street, in Room 400A, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Interested persons can review and comment upon the applications under consideration via the NHCD Development Applications webpage.
The HIRC helps to ensure funding applications have been scored by NHCD staff in compliance with both the RHDA and OHDA Program Guidelines. HIRC’s report is forwarded with recommendations to the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC), which makes final funding decisions at its regular meetings.
Applications can be submitted at any time, but will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
