Effective immediately, Neighborhood Housing and Community Development (NHCD) is joining other City of Austin departments to modify its business operations in response to COVID-19. Employees will continue normal operations by teleworking via email, phone, or mail to facilitate social distancing, while protecting community health, at least until Monday, March 30, 2020. The City may re-evaluate the date of return to normal operations as soon as it is prudent.
While NHCD office will be closed during this time (Street Jones Building, 1000 East 11th Street) all regular business operations and services will continue uninterrupted. Client are encouraged to continue to engage NHCD staff by phone or electronically; materials or documentation that cannot be submitted electronically should be sent via regular postal mail, as staff are not in the office to receive documents in person.
