Deceased:  Douglas Joseph Vogelsass, White male, (D.O.B. 11-20-74)

The preliminary investigation shows that Douglas Joseph Vogelsass was walking on William Cannon Dr. northbound across U.S. Highway 290. He disregarded the pedestrian control device and was struck by a 2013 Ford F150.
 
Douglas Joseph Vogelsass was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The driver of the F150 remained on scene and was cooperative. No charges are expected to be filed.
