On June 25, 2022, at approximately 11:44 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a fatal crash involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian in the 8100 block of S IH 35 SVRD NB. The pedestrian died at the scene. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian left the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
