APD is seeking the public’s assistance with an aggravated assault case from October 7, 2019, in the 8300 block of Spicewood Springs Rd. The victim, a woman in her mid-20s, agreed to meet with the suspect at the greenbelt entrance in the 8300 block of Spicewood Springs Rd. at approximately 12:30 p.m. They walked into the wooded area off the greenbelt path where they proceeded to have consensual sexual intercourse during which the suspect assaulted the victim causing non-life threatening injuries. The victim was able to get away from the suspect. She ran out of the greenbelt to a nearby house where 911 was called.
 
The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time. He is described as:

• White male
• Estimated to be between 5’8” and 6’ tall
• Approximately 160 pounds
• Dark eyes
• Dark wavy hair
• Large mouth
• Yellow teeth
• Soft voice
• Last seen wearing dark clothing and carrying a black backpack

An older-model, silver car was seen in the area just before the time of the assault. It is unknown if the vehicle is related to this case.
