Arrested: Glenn Madison Deal Jr., Black Male, 25 years of age
 
On April 9, 2019 at approximately 10:44 p.m., Austin 911 received a call of a shooting at Givens Park. Austin Police, Fire and Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on scene. There they located the deceased body of Andre Davis with obvious trauma. Austin-Travis County EMS received pronouncement of death at 10:56 p.m. by Dr. Escott.
 
Based on information developed, robbery appears to have been the motive. One of the suspects was described as being tall, stocky and last seen wearing a black jacket. Suspects were possibly seen leaving in a black Nissan car. 
 
The Travis County Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be gunshot wound/Homicide.

On May 30, 2019, Glenn Madison Deal Jr. was arrested for Capital Murder in the death of Andre Lanier Davis Jr.
