Call-Center Help for High-Risk Workers
Are you a front line staff member who needs help due to COVID-19?
The Austin Voices call center can help (in any language). They can provide information and referral services related to legal case management, assistance applying for unemployment, and one-time financial assistance.
Call 512-493-4288, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
The call center will be available through mid-December.
A "High-Risk Worker" falls into one of the following categories:
- Over 65
- Worker in households over 65
- Has a health condition
- Unable to work from home
- Lower income
- Worker from a larger household
- Part of communities of color
- Diagnosed with COVID-19 + not recovered or not yet been 14 days
