APD, the Restore Rundberg Revitalization Team and the community met at 305 Deen Ave. for a Restore Rundberg Community Meeting. The meeting was led by Team Co-chair Robert Perez. Team members presented a PowerPoint that included the Top 4 Revitalization Priorities identified by the Team and community. Updates were provided by APD and UT. There was a breakout session where community members provided input and discussed the priorities.

The Community Input Meeting on December 18, 2012 was the first public discussion of the project. The meeting was attended by 45 community members in addition to Austin Police Department and City of Austin staff from various departments. Attendees provided open comment on issues that faced by the Rundberg community, the top five identified as:
Drugs & Drug Dealing
Burglary & Theft (Including homes, schools, cars and businesses)
Prostitution & Sex Trafficking
Problem properties & code violations
Miscellaneous (gangs, violent crime, law in motels, language and communication barriers, homelessness, public indecency, etc.)
