Take a safe ride home

Explore your options for a safe ride home from the party:

  • Parking Ticket Waiver Program: If you take a taxicab, bus, or rideshare home, you may qualify for a waiver. Submit an online form with your ticket and ride receipt.
  • Night Owls: CapMetro's Night Owl buses run midnight–3 a.m., Monday–Saturday, linking late-night spots to neighborhoods every 20–30 minutes. UT and ACC students ride free with ID; others pay $1.25.
  • Pedicabs: Common around entertainment districts, pedicabs offer a safe ride to your hotel or home.
  • Taxicabs and Ridesharing: Use these services if impaired. Don't risk driving under the influence.
  • Overnight Parking: Leave your car in one of Austin's 3,000 downtown public parking spaces.

Enjoy your event to the fullest, knowing that you've got safe, convenient options for getting home. With a little planning, you can focus on having a great time, while we help ensure you get back home safely.
