The Pan Am Hillside Summer Concert Series is a beloved East Austin tradition. Now in its 66th year, it is Austin’s longest-running free outdoor concert series. It celebrates the heritage of East Austin’s Mexican, Mexican-American, Chicano, and Latino communities with a special focus on Tejano music.
Concerts are located outside, on the hillside next to the Oswaldo A.B. Cantu Pan American Recreation Center, located at 2100 E 3rd Street. The concerts are 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesdays throughout July.
This concert series is organized by several City of Austin departments: the Oswaldo A.B. Cantu Pan American Recreation Center, Austin Parks and Recreation, the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (ESB MACC), and Austin Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (ACME).
