Athletics

The Athletics section caters to the adult population of Austin, offering year-round softball leagues and tournaments for men and women, men and co-rec competitive recreational flag football leagues and tournaments and men and women recreational basketball leagues. All registered Capital City softball, basketball and flag football games, teams and officials are sanctioned by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF).

Basketball

Offers recreational leagues at various recreation centers throughout Austin. Games are played Monday through Thursday evenings, catering to both men and women of every skill level.

Flag Football

Provides two seasons of play throughout the year in the spring and fall months. The program is accessible to adults of all skill levels, both men and women, of the Austin community.

Softball

Provides year-round play to the Austin community and offers leagues to adult men and women of all skill levels. Games are played at Krieg Softball Complex (South) and Havins Ballfields (North). All Capital City softball games and umpires are sanctioned by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA).
