APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Personal Injury

On Friday, December 26, 2025, at approximately 3:49 p.m., Austin Police (APD) officers responded to the scene of a crash at the intersection of S 1st Street and Dittmar Road. The victim and a two-year-old passenger suffered injuries as a result of the collision. A suspect vehicle involved in the collision left the scene without stopping or rendering aid.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
- Hummer H2
- Pewter colored
- 2003 – 2009 model
