Homicide Investigation in the 11100 block of Bending Bough Trail

Location: 11100 block of Bending Bough Trail
Victim (Deceased): Walter Connor, White male, 12/26/1950
Suspect (Arrested): Isaiah Jackson, Black male, 22 years of age

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 7:04 a.m., Austin Police (APD) Officers responded to a Shoot/Stab Hotshot call in the 11100 block of Bending Bough Trail. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim later identified as Walter Connor, inside the residence with trauma to his body. Mr. Connor was transported to a local hospital, where he unfortunately was pronounced deceased at 7:52 a.m.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Specialists responded to process the scene and interview witnesses. The investigation showed Mr. Connor was stabbed by one of his roommates, who was identified as Isaiah Jackson. Jackson left the scene prior to the arrival of officers but returned a short time later. He was taken into custody and later charged with 1st Degree Murder.
