Traffic Fatality in the 11200 block of Anderson Mill Road

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at approximately 9:28 a.m., Austin Police (APD) officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the 11200 block of Anderson Mill Road. The driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. She was identified as Monika Cox and was pronounced deceased at the hospital days later. 

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 82nd fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 86 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 73 fatal crashes resulted in 78 deaths. These statements are from the initial assessment of the fatal crash, and the investigation is still pending. Fatality information may change.
