Right-of-Way Street Closures
Current and Upcoming Full Street Closures
The list below contains all known current and expected full road closures implemented or proposed on major roadways (levels 3 and above, as categorized by the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan) throughout the City of Austin's right-of-way. This list includes the road, location, contractor, start and end dates, and a description of the closure.
Contractors must notify Right-of-Way Management at least two weeks in advance of any proposed full road closure by emailing ROWinspections@austintexas.gov.
Please note that this list does not contain the following:
- Full road closures associated with non-major roadways (levels 2 and below as categorized by the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan),
- Full road closures associated with emergencies,
- Partial road closures,
- Full road closures located in right of way belonging to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Travis County, or other entities, or
- Full road closures are not reported to the Right-of-Way Management division.
Work schedules and scope are subject to change and unforeseen delays due to weather, utility issues, conflicts, etc.
