    Temporary suspension of Officer William Norrell

    Chief of Police Brian Manley determined that Officer Norrell’s actions violated Civil Service Commission Rule 10.03, and suspended him from duty for 4 days, from March 6, 2020 through March 9, 2020. Officer Norrell was observed failing to respond to calls-for-service in the early morning hours of his shifts. Officer Norrell also responded inappropriately to his superior officers when confronted about his behavior.

    Suspensión temporal del oficial William Norrell

    El jefe de la Policía, Brian Manley, determinó que las acciones del oficial Norrell violaron la Regla de la Comisión de Servicio Civil 10.03 y lo suspendió de sus labores por 4 días, a partir del 6 de marzo hasta el hasta el 9 de marzo de 2020. Se observó al oficial Norrell evitando responder a llamadas de servicio en las horas tempranas de la mañana en sus turnos de trabajo. El oficial Norrell también respondió de manera indebida a sus oficiales superiores al ser confrontado con su comportamiento.
