Complainants allege that APD officers were aggressive to peaceful protestors, behaved inapropriately while detaining protesters, escalated instead of de-escalated violence, and used excessive force from pepper spray, tear gas, and "less lethal" weaponry, including bean bags and rubber bullets, that resulted in injuries.
