APD Detectives Search for a Person of Interest in Connection to a Collision Involving Injury

Austin Police (APD) Detectives with the Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit are requesting the public’s help with identifying a person of interest in connection to a Collision Involving Injury between a dark gray sedan and a juvenile on a skateboard that occurred on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the intersection of Panadero Drive and Baythorne Drive. Immediately after the crash, the sedan drove off northbound on Panadero Drive. The driver did not make any attempt to render medical aid to the juvenile who sustained bodily injury.

  • Hispanic or Asian male
  • 50 to 60 years of age
  • Heavy set
  • He was last seen wearing a University of Texas “Hook’em Horns” t-shirt, jean shorts, and tennis shoes.

The vehicle of interest is described as:

  • Sedan
  • Dark gray
  • Four-door
