APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Personal Injury

Suspect vehicle:  White Volkswagen SUV

On Monday, November 10, 2025, Austin Police (APD) officers responded to a collision between a white Volkswagen SUV and an E-bike rider in the intersection of Mesa Drive and Rockford Lane. The victim was riding an E-bike on Mesa Drive when the white SUV turned onto Rockford Lane, striking the cyclist. The suspect vehicle then left the scene without stopping or rendering aid. The rider of the E-bike suffered bodily injury.

The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as:

  • White male
  • 40-50 years of age
  • 160-170 lbs
  • 5’8”-5’10”
  • Medium build
  • Red/auburn goatee that went down to his chest
  • Thick Southern accent
