Astor Place Water and Wastewater Pipeline Renewal

The Astor Place Water and Wastewater Renewal project is part of Renewing Austin, Austin Water's ongoing program to replace aging water and wastewater infrastructure throughout the city and prepare our system for the needs of the future. The project will install 6,300 linear feet of new water main and 5,700 linear feet of new wastewater main, replacing deteriorating pipes vulnerable to leaks and breaks. New lines will conserve water and reduce costs from repeated repairs.

Timeline

Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2026 and take approximately 19 months to complete.
