Join us! Sábados en Familia is a free kids’ cultural arts and crafts program delivered by the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican-American Cultural Center. The program takes place at libraries all over Austin. Families with kids of all ages can participate for free. A craft project follows the read-along.

April 11 featured guest: Teatro Sin Fronteras
Teatro Sin Fronteras is a multilingual arts company based in the U.S.—Mexico Borderlands. Their work in print and performance seeks to celebrate the diverse cultures, history, and voices of Mexican-Americans. They have produced multilingual performances across the Southwest and recently published Codex Miquiztli, their first illustrated book.

Participants in this free event will follow along with the storytime and then make their own codices (books)!
