Rescue Partners

The Austin Animal Center works closely with a number of Placement Partner organizations in order to save homeless pets. The Animal Center transfers about 11% of the animals that come in to the shelter to our partners.

Become a Partner

Partner groups are carefully screened, reviewed and monitored by the shelter. The shelter works closely with its placement partner organizations to save homeless pets. For information or to apply, see Placement Partner Application Packet.

Placement partners must submit a Placement Partner Monthly Inventory Form to the shelter by the 10th of each month.
