APD North Metro Tactical Unit Arrests Three Suspects in Connection to an Operation

On April 13, 2026, members of the Austin Police (APD) North Metro Tactical Unit conducted a proactive directed enforcement operation at a residence in the 1400 block of Broadmoor Drive. This operation was designed to address ongoing complaints from residents of the neighborhood regarding suspected narcotics, firearms, arson, trespassing, burglary, criminal threatening and other crimes.
 
As a result of the operation, the following enforcement actions were taken:
 
Case: 26-1030810
Suspect: Lakeshia Robertson, Black female, 38 years of age

Lakeshia Robertson

Lakeshia Robertson was detained after leaving the residence for a violation of city ordinance. Officers learned she had an active warrant for her arrest for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a State Jail Felony, out of the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. Robertson was arrested and transported to the Travis County Jail where she was searched in accordance to jail policy. Officers located approximately 3 grams of Methamphetamine during the search. Robertson was charged with the arrest warrant as well as Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1 gram < 4 grams, a 3rd Degree Felony.

Suspect: Jonathan Green, Black male, 30 years of age

Jonathan Green

Jonathan Green was detained after leaving the residence for a traffic violation. Officers observed Green remove an item from his pocket and discard it behind a wall as he was being approached. Officers recovered the item and found it to be a baggie containing approximately 14 grams of Methamphetamine. Green was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 4 grams < 200 grams, a 2nd Degree Felony, as well as Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, a 3rd Degree Felony.

Suspect: Logan Sides, White male, 36 years of age

Logan Sides

Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of Broadmoor Drive in and arrested the resident, Logan Sides, for an arrest warrant for Theft of Property with Previous Convictions, a State Jail Felony, related to a bicycle theft in the neighborhood. Additionally, Officers located and seized approximately 131 grams or 4.6 ounces of Methamphetamine in the house. Sides was subsequently charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), a 1st Degree Felony.
 
APD wishes to thank the residents of this neighborhood for their support and encourages residents throughout the city to continue to call and advocate for themselves if there are problem areas, apartments or houses in their neighborhoods. This case demonstrates the value of collaboration with our community and the types of efforts we can take to help with situations like these.
