Project Overview

The Burrell Drive Wastewater Renewal Project is part of Renewing Austin, an Austin Water project dedicated to replacing deteriorating and aged water and wastewater main lines throughout the city so that we can conserve water, improve reliability for customers, and reduce expenditures on frequently breaking lines.

Through the Burrell Drive Renewal Project, we will replace approximately 2,315 linear feet of wastewater main lines and 534 linear feet of water main lines. For the construction phase of this project, Austin Water will partner with the City of Austin’s Capital Delivery Services division, and their project management staff will supervise construction.

Timeline

The project team anticipates that construction will begin fall of 2024 and take 14 months to complete.
