The City of Austin has placed student safety as a top priority and in 1992 developed the ‘Don't Kid with Safety’ training. This training was developed to offer pedestrian/traffic safety lessons at no cost to local schools. The training is available in English and Spanish to City of Austin students in grades Pre-K-5.
