Volunteer
Each year, thousands of Austinites volunteer to help the City’s parks, preserves, trails, playgrounds, athletic and recreational facilities. The volunteer program invites community and business groups to partner with us once or on an ongoing basis.
Adopt-a-Park
Make an ongoing volunteer commitment, and become a steward of and advocate for a park or facility.
GET STARTED! To get started please complete the Adopt-a-Park Application. After your application is reviewed and approved we will complete an Adopt-a-Park Agreement.

Community-Initiated Improvement Projects
Community-initiated improvement projects (CIIP) provide a process for partners to raise funds and in-kind contributions in order to design and build improvement projects at PARD parks and facilities that are in alignment with PARD plans and strategic priorities.
Download the CIIP Application Form or email us for more information.
Public-Private Partnerships
PARD invites interest from individuals, for-profit and non-profit organizations to form public-private agreements to carry out revenue-generating or capital-related programs and activities that are in alignment with plans and strategic priorities, such as designing and building improvements, maintaining parkland and operating programming. View the Public-Private Partnership Overview document or email us for more information.
