Special Event Ordinance Revision - Public Outreach Meetings

Austin Center for Events invites the public to attend the following outreach meetings:

Monday, May 13, 6:45-8:45 p.m.
Tuesday, May 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Monday, June 3, 6:45-8:45 p.m.

All meetings will be held at One Texas Center, 3rd Floor, Room 325.

WHAT'S NEW

PERMITTING PROCESS FOR SPECIAL EVENT BUILDS

Please fill out the Temporary Event Information Questionnaire and schedule an appointment for review with the Austin Center for Events at 974-1000.

Building Permits Guidelines for Special Events (Temporary Stages and Platforms)

Deadlines will vary depending on event specifications. For example: there is a 21 day deadline prior to an event for any event lasting the duration of 1 day, and a 30 day deadline prior to the event start date for events lasting multiple days. Other deadlines may also apply.
