Looking for a Friend or Family Member? We understand how important it is to find someone you care about, especially during a stressful situation. Because of patient privacy laws, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), EMS is not able to confirm a patient’s identity, location, or condition. If you believe your friend or family member may have been transported by EMS, we recommend contacting local hospitals directly. You may also consider reaching out to others who may have been with them at the time. Thank you for your understanding as we work to protect every patient’s privacy.
