A Written Civil Service Exam will be administered on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, for applicants of the 153rd class (scheduled to start on July 15, 2024). The Physical Fitness Test will be administered on a separate day based on the following criteria: 

  • Applicants living more than 200 miles from Austin will be tested on Sunday, February 25th, 2024.
  • Applicants living within 200 miles of Austin will be tested on March 2nd or 3rd, 2024.
