The Compliance Division is responsible for reviewing, monitoring and tracking MBE/WBE participation on City procurements through Pre-Award and Post-Award phases of a project. All Solicitations over $55,000 MUST be reviewed by SMBR.
The Pre-Award Compliance team reviews solicitations, sets project goals, collaborates with Project Managers to help identify scopes of work on projects, and verifies Compliance Plan information submitted by Bidders/Proposers.
The Post-Award Compliance team monitors and assesses compliance by conducting site audits, reviewing payment requests, facilitating performance/payment issues, and determining final compliance with the program.
