Austin, Texas – The public is being asked to share their ideas about the types of public amenities and amount of green space desired on new public spaces being created over I-35 in Central Austin.
The Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) I-35 Capital Express Central rebuilding project will provide the City the opportunity to reconnect East and West Austin with caps or platform decks. At the city’s Our Future 35 open house on Saturday, May 18, the City will share early concept sketches of the caps for the public to consider.
