Clear the Shelters FREE Adoption Event

Austin Animal Services is proud to partner with BISSELL Pet Foundation for the nationwide “Empty the Shelters” adoption event. From May 1 through May 17, adoption fees for all dogs and cats will be waived, making it easier than ever to bring home a new best friend.

This limited-time event is part of a national effort to reduce shelter populations and help more pets find loving homes. Every adoption creates space for another animal in need and gives a deserving pet a fresh start.

Adopters can meet a wide variety of dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go home. There are bunnies and guinea pigs too.

Shelter Adoption Hours: Daily, 11am - 7 pm, line closes at 6 pm.
