On August 3, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: To Whom It Concerns, case number
I could not have been more disappoint in or worried about the law enforcement of our city than I
was when I checked on the status of a serious report that I made in
of this year.
Not only did I have to go to Herculean lengths to make the report due to the online system and it's
ineffectualness, but even after making a complaint to police oversight, I see today when doing an
incident report check online, that nothing has been done.
This is a border state. This is a state with extreme immigration fraud and one with transnational
crime growing and threatening public safety. Document fraud and illegal immigration are at the
forefront of Texas struggles. Yet, when I took my personal time and went to great lengths to report
what I Know to be a fraudulent immigration call, based on information given to me by the Inspector
General in Washington, the case is mislabeled and not even assigned 2 moths later.
One would think that the APD not only doesn't care in general, but also has no knowledge of
citizenship processes by the glacial pace at which they move. I assume that had I not have looked
into the matter that APD would do nothing.
From the date of a citizenship interview the government has 120 days to make a determination.

Why did the APD call me on

and WASTE 20 minutes of my
precious time with my kids to act like they were taking a report when it is not even labeled
correctly. It was not an immigration status check. It was a fraud report!
When an understaffed and underfunded police force loses their citizen enthusiasm for public safety
and the people stop reporting etc, you have the makings of unrest, chaos and evenly various grades
of war. If my ex husband and whoever made that phone call back in
commit any crime(s) as
a result of his gaining citizenship etc it will be as a direct result of the APD taking no action.
If this not is harsh in tone, it is meant to be.

This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
