On August 12, 2022, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: I moved to

year. I have had a multitude of health and living condition issues with
None of my contacts with the management team has been able to resolve issues
to include, doors that wont secure. staff entering my dwelling without permission, warning
or reason. unresponsiveness to what appears to be black mold from ceiling and water
pouring out ot the above apartment going onto my kitchen floor. Last week I was
exceptionally ill. My throat was SO inflamed that swallowing was pretty painful. I got better
this week but the mold and water issue are issues they need to address or let me out of my

the US Department of Veterans Affairs. I have a respiratory issue that can't possibly benefit
from this dump. A couple days ago i walked to the office to report the leaking water and
black mold. One of the managers was in a golf cart and motioned to me to stay away
because of busy on cell phone. I am still pretty sick at this point. Again i attempted to
coordinate with the management on issues that are basic in nature, health matters and could
cause cancer or other issues. Due to fact of dealing half a dozen times with the staff blowing
issues of health concern my patience is gone. I speak with passion on stuff that seems pretty
basic. None of this is a police issue. It became on later but to this point it is NOT A LE
scenaro requiring a police response. The asian male manager told me to leave his office or
he would call police. I complied with what he said BUT stood by for responding PD. On
several previous instances i had pointed out the the staff the doors dont secure. These
interior doors have locking device and could easily be fixed if i were dealing with
professionals I have two young dogs that are smart enought to push through the door and
get into whatever they want. During the course of my several reports/request to do youre
job one of my dogs got deathly ill. I had to take him to emergency vet clinic and would up
paying 2000 to the vet for an issue that could have been resolved by the staff at the
As youre officers are on scene and informally questioning and listening to me i saw a
female that was in the office area and also complaining about issues, The two officers herd
what she said. They herd what i said. Not even one time did i threaten that manager. Youre
officers couldnt be bothered to re contact the manager and explain speaking with

articulation, emotions and emphasis IS NOT A THREAT TO SELF OR OTHERS. Pretty
shoddy piece of police work is what i got. I dont own any weapons or guns. Its pretty clear
to me the officers responded incorrectly. All of these discrepancies should be able to be
handled by the staff here. The responding officers KNOW THAT. But instead of following
a path of common sense they decided to not even take advantage of an obvious training
opportunity. You could have done that. But you didnt. You are short on officers. You
should be better trained to these responses. It was a clear display of lack of concern, not
listening to what has been going down and a complete failure to perform as a metro pd.
Most humans would be frustrated and look for some assistance. There are more run ins
with myself and APD. I am being harrassed. Im not gonna stand for it. This manager most
likely will call again with a made up complaint of disruptive behavior. Not against me per
say but anytime he decides to not do his job
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
