Cadet Hiring Preparation

Fitness Information

Candidates should continue to prepare for the physical components of the hiring process. Specifically, you must be able to complete both the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) and the Medical Exam Treadmill Test to continue in the process.  The treadmill test is a measure of aerobic fitness that is the equal to 12 metabolic equivalents (METS).  Information on these tests is listed below for use in your fitness training:
