The Austin Live Music Fund encourages, promotes, improves, and showcases Austin’s diverse music industry.
Creative Space Assistance Program
The Creative Space Assistance Program offers awards to commercial creative spaces facing displacement or new leases at higher and unaffordable rates.
The Elevate grant offers funding for arts organizations, individual artists, and creative businesses that produce culturally vibrant and diverse artistic content.
The Heritage Preservation Grant which serves to promote tourism through historic preservation projects and activities inclusive of all stories rooted in history and heritage.
The Nexus program supports emerging cultural and creative individuals or organizations to produce public projects and activities for Austin's diverse communities.
The Thrive grant offers focused investment to sustain and grow local arts nonprofit organizations deeply rooted in and reflective of Austin’s diverse cultures.
Artist Opportunities
The Art in Public Places program commissions visual artists who work across all media to create site-specific installations and unique public art that reflect the history and values of our communities.
The Artist Access Program provides free rehearsal space and low-cost performance space for Austin artists through a competitive process.
Paid Performance Opportunities
From cultural events, to City Council meetings, to outdoor concerts, the City of Austin provides Austin area professional musicians and bands, dancers, and artists with ongoing paid opportunities to perform in live and virtual City events.
