Divisions
Human Services are administered out of the Administrative Offices of the Health Department along with certain grant programs.
These are the commercial programs handled by the Health and Human Services Department.
The Health Services section consists of the parts of the Health Department having to do with illness and health issues.
Many of our neighborhood programs are decentralized throughout the city with a concentration in the lower income areas and downtown Austin.
The Office of Vital Records issues birth and death certificates in the City of Austin.
