Bilingual Storytime and Hands-on Activities
✨ Sábados en Familia is a free kids’ cultural arts and crafts program provided by the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center at Austin Central Library. This month we will be reading “Daniel’s Ride”/”El Paseo de Daniel” by Michael Perry and illustrated by Lee Ballard. We will also make a paper lowrider (a customized car with a lowered body that came out of Chicanx/Mexican American culture). We hope to see you there!
