Information Session on 2024 Technical Codes Implementation

Learn about newly amended Technical Building Codes that go into effect July 10, 2025, in Austin.  

City staff will provide updates on 10 revised codes at this in-person information session. 

Highlights of the amended codes include new air conditioning requirements, single stairway provisions, expansion of the Wildland-Urban Interface area, and new requirements for energy efficiency and electric vehicle readiness.
