Report a power outage
There are three ways to report a power outage:
Online
Report an outage online and check the Austin Energy Outage Map for status updates.
By text message
Text OUT to 287846 to report an outage and receive status updates from Austin Energy by text message.

You can register everyone in your household in advance to receive outage alert texts. You will need to log in to your COA Utilities account.
