Western Arts Alliance (WAA) is a membership association of touring and performing arts professionals engaged in promoting and presenting performing arts throughout the western states and provinces. Serving members since 1967, WAA’s annual booking conference and its year-round programs are essential for artists, artist managers, presenters, and other performing arts professionals in the West.

In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the State Arts Agencies of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee — with additional funding from other public and private donors such as the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation — South Arts supports artists and organizations through a rich and responsive portfolio of grants, fellowships, and programs.

PAL provides financial assistance to elderly musicians for medical and living expenses. Preference is given to blues artists, though musicians in other genres may be eligible depending on available funds.

NPN gathers artists, presenters and colleagues in a different city each year for an annual conference. Additional programs include funds for the creation and development of new artistic work, arts leadership professional development, and cultural exchanges.

New England Foundation for the Arts is a regional funder for programs that cultivate and promote the arts in New England and beyond.

The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation advances the arts in Native communities and promotes positive social change for American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native peoples through funding and networking opportunities.

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures is the nation's premier nonprofit organization exclusively dedicated to the Latino arts field. The NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA)  are $10,000 grant awards for Latinx artists and organizations of all disciplines based in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The NFA Adán Medrano Legacy Award in Film, a $10,000 award for one emerging Latinx filmmaker.

Emergency financial assistance is available for music professionals who are unable to pay their basic living expenses (health insurance/food/health care) over the next two months. We ask that if you have the resources to cover that period, please wait to apply.

The non-profit leg of the GRAMMY Awards has expanded their services to include lost income due to the cancellation of scheduled gigs or performances due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 precautionary measures. 

Mid Atlantic Arts was established in 1979 to promote and support multi-state arts programming in a region that includes Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia. It is one of six regional arts organizations in the United States, and works in close partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and its member state and jurisdictional arts agencies. Mid Atlantic Arts distinguishes itself through its work in international cultural exchange, model programs in performing arts touring, its knowledge and presence in the jazz field, and its support of folk and traditional arts.

Mid-America Arts Alliance strengthens and supports artists, cultural organizations, and communities throughout our region and beyond.  MAAA funds artists and programs in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.

HOME  was formed by a group of concerned women in Austin, Texas, for the purpose of providing financial housing assistance for aging musicians in need. 

For applicants who have been a working comic book writer, penciler, inker, colorist, or letterer on a work-for-hire basis for no less than 10 years since January 1, 1934.

Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau's Music Office makes sure all visitors experience local music by marketing to travelers and booking bands for group conventions, luncheons & off-site receptions.
