The City of Austin and the City's Ethics Review Commission will sponsor live canddiate forums for the November 2022 City Council and Mayoral Elections.

Moderated Candidate Forums

During the months of September and October, The League of Women Voters Austin Area will moderate the forums for each of the six district council seats on the November 8, 2022 election ballot. There is also a forum planned in the event of a runoff election.

Each event will be an opportunity for Austinites to listen to candidates express their views so audience members can understand candidates' positions and make informed voting decisions. Candidates who are elected will serve four-year terms.

The Candidates in ballot order will be determined on August 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.- City Hall, 301 W. 2nd Street.
