About ACE
The Austin Center for Events (ACE) coordinates the permitting of special events for the City of Austin. ACE is governed by Chapter 4-20 – Special Events of the City of Austin Code of Ordinances and the Adopted Administrative Rules for implementation.

ACE Updates
The City of Austin Transportation and Public Works Department and the Austin Center for Events have declared an indefinite continuation of Moratorium on New Downtown Street Events. Events may be considered on a case by case basis.
Data Reporting
In compliance with the City of Austin's Special Events Ordinance, the Austin Center for Events maintains data reports for specific event information.
