Austin's New Year 2022
Ring in 2023 in true style at the free Austin's New Year celebration! Join us for live performances by El Combo Oscuro, Taméca Jones, The Texas Gentlemen, and Extragrams at the iconic Auditorium Shores on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Large portions of the park will be left as open space, allowing guests to spread out, lay down, and enjoy the show from the comfort of the lawn at the iconic Auditorium Shores on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 6 p.m. to midnight. The fireworks show will take place at midnight.
Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy the evening’s festivities from the comfort of the lawn. Please leave pets, alcohol, fireworks, smoking materials and similar items at home.
Neighborhood road closures around the event will begin at 5 p.m. with a full bridge closure on South First Street at 10:30 p.m. Parking restrictions and enforcement will be in effect, as designated by posted signage.
