NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
September 2, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0732
On August 29, 2022, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: APD is still promoting racially profiling and discrimination
while doing traffic stops. I was told that Officer
stopped me because he stated
that I went over the crosswalk line at the 4 way stop. I recall stopping before I got to that
line and he's parked to where you cannot see the stop sign. He is doing this to trap people
and then when he pulled me over and ran my name he lied and said that my name is tied to
someone named
I don't know who that is) he says that she was arrested for
disorderly conduct in
County. I've never heard of that place.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
