NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
October 28, 2022
ICMS # #: 2022-0971
On October 24, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant was in an accident and the female officer on
scene never asked him any questions. She asked questions of the other party, went off their
word, and never asked if the complainant if he wanted to file a complaint against the other
people for damaging his property. The officer let them go. Why was reckless driving filed
against him? He feels like he's being discriminated against. The complainant doesn't have
the officer's name or badge number. (Officer
is on the report, #
, but
the complaint did not seem to be for that officer.)
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
